Accountant

We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Accountant to join our team in Milan. What you’ll do:

• Record, classify and manage the archive of accounting and tax records

• Prepare and issue invoices, bills and declarations and other administrative and tax documentation

• Preparation of data for periodic settlements and the annual VAT declaration

• Regularly reconcile suppliers and customers’ bank statements, and ensure timely updating of the books

• Ensure daily reconciliation of the stores ’cash balances

• Accounting records relating to bank movements and monthly bank reconciliations

• Support the Accounting & Controlling Manager in the preparation and monitoring of the cash flow plan and periodic cash flow

• Support the Accounting & Controlling Manager in the monthly closing activities, including the preparation of adjusting journal entries, and gather the necessary data, tables, accounting details, and informative notes for the preparation of the year-end financial statements.

• Respond to any administrative requests from the Management Team

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting and/or a similar role

• Background in economics or equivalent experience

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficient in the Office package, with a particular emphasis on Excel

• Knowledge of Navision is considered a significant advantage

• Salary range: €30,000 - €35,000 per year
