Front End Developer

Location: based in Catania (Sicily) 

Contract: Full Time 

Salary: 25-35K / year 

In just a few years, The Level Group has become a leading global e-commerce partner and today we’re looking for a talented Front-End Developer to work within a team on continuous improvement, new developments and maintenance of TLG e-commerce applications. 

You'll use the best technologies available in the e-commerce market for the most important Fashion Luxury Brands. You will gain experience on the cutting-edge Front-End technologies, working with an international team using Agile methodologies. 

What you’ll do: 

• Translate wireframes and functional requirements into clear and practical user interfaces 

• Effectively develop in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable format, producing DRY code 

• Introduce and explain your technical choices and know-how to your coworkers 

• Research, identify and select the most suitable technologies in terms of costs, efficiency and reliability 

• Improve the user experience while maintaining accessibility standards and top performances 

• Understand the back-end impact due to front end decisions 

Required skills: 

• At least two years of experience in a similar role 

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript and React 

• HTML, CSS, LESS/SASS/other CSS pre-processors 

• Webpack, Gulp or other Front-End automation tools 

• Eye for details - down to the pixel 

• Experience in development and/or integration of RESTful APIs 

• Experience with GIT version control and GITFlow 

• Fluency of Italian and English, both spoken and written 

Nice to have skills: 

• Experience with other JS frameworks (Angular, Vue, ...) 

• Experience of back-end programming 

• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage time efficiently 

• Can communicate to technical and non-technical people on the same level
