Back End Developer

Location: based in Catania (Sicily)

Contract: Full Time

Salary: 24-30K, depending on candidate's skills

In just a few years, The Level Group has become a leading global e-commerce partner and today we’re looking for a talented Back End Developer for the Integrations team based in Catania to work on new developments and maintenance of TLG e-commerce applications.

What you will do: 

• Use the best technologies available, such as Python, Apache Kafka, AWS, PostregSQL, .NET ecosystem (Azure, Dynamics NAV, .NET Core, SQL Server) and others

• Work with some of the most important Fashion Luxury Brands in real case scenarios, with challenging requirements of performance, complexity, availability and response times 

• Gain experience on cutting-edge technologies, popular DevOps platforms and modern architectures (event-based, microservices, etc.) 

• Work with an international team 

• Work with agile methodology 

Responsibilities:  

• Develop code which is readable, well structured and easily maintainable, following architectural patterns, DRY and SOLID principles 

• Liaise with client and project teams  

• Actively participate in brainstorming, sprint planning and code reviews 

• Research, identify and select the most suitableand innovative technologies in terms of costs, efficiency and reliability   

• Create and maintain code documentation 

• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage time efficiently 

What you bring along:  

• At least one years of experience in a similar role 

Required skills: 

• Experience with at least an MVC web framework 

• Good knowledge of OOP (C#, Java, GoLang, Python, etc.) 

• Strong problem-solving capacity 

• Experience in design/maintain database (SQL and/or NoSQL) 

• Experience in developing/integrate REST API 

• Experience with GIT, possibly in a mid-dimensioned team 

• Ability of team working and communicate with team mates 

• Fluency in English both spoken and written 

Nice to have skills: 

• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud  

• Experience with one or more C# based frameworks (i.e. Asp.NET, Asp.NET Core, WPF, UWP, etc.) 

• Experience with usage of a branching model, such as GitFlow, 

• Experience with developing in e-commerce field 

• Experience with developing/integrating GaphQL API 

• Experience with Continuous Integration / Deployment systems 

• Experience with System Administration 

• Experience with any Enterprise Service Bus system (Biztalk, MuleSoft, …) 

• Experience with developing of software hosted in Cloud (AWS, Azure, GoogleCloud) 

• Experience with Enterprise Software of Microsoft suite (es. NAV/Dynamics, PowerBI, BizTalk, etc.) 

• Can communicate to technical and non-technical people on the same level
