Marketing & Communications Intern

La DoubleJ is spreading its joy worldwide and is looking for a whip smart, enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Intern to help them achieve it. This individual will support the Senior Director of Communications US & UK and her team in daily tasks, including monitoring operational activities, event production and VIP requests to generate top-level press coverage and maintain media momentum around the Milanese design brand’s expansion.

TASKS

·        Assist with special events and activations in the US.

·        Help with sample trafficking, coordinate domestic and international deliveries.

·        Monitor press coverage, clip placements, maintain editorial library.

·        Assist with Influencer marketing strategy and execution.

·        Help with VIP dressing requests and opportunities.

·        Keep PR stock organized.

REQUIREMENTS

·        A general interest in lifestyle, trends, fashion, (pop) culture, art

·        Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure

·        A keen understanding of social media and digital communication

·        A positive, proactive attitude with an “all-hands-on-deck" attitude.

*This role is available in exchange for school credit.

**This is an onsite position based in New York. Hours depend on applicant's schedule.
