We are looking for a talented Payment Specialist to join our team in Milan and lead the evolution of our payment systems and operations. This is a business-driven and cross-functional role, sitting at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Business, with the mission to deliver a seamless, secure, and scalable payment experience across all markets.

As a strategic owner of the payment ecosystem, you’ll coordinate internal tech squads, finance stakeholders, and external service providers - including payment service and fraud management partners - to continuously improve authorization rates, reduce friction, and ensure compliance and fraud mitigation.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and optimize end-to-end payment processes, including authorization flows, payment method setup, and reconciliation logic

  • Act as Project Manager for all payment-related developments, aligning business and tech stakeholders and ensuring timely, compliant delivery

  • Serve as the primary contact for payment service and fraud management providers (e.g., Adyen, PayPal, Klarna), managing performance, SLAs, and commercial relationships

  • Monitor key KPIs (authorization rates, conversion, drop-off points, chargebacks), identify inefficiencies, and lead performance optimization initiatives

  • Interface with risk management and fraud prevention partners to monitor fraud trends, define rulesets, and take proactive actions on fraud risk

  • Lead the launch of new payment methods and platforms, managing business requirements, testing, and go-live with Tech, Customer Care, and Operations

  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, SCA), collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Audit functions

  • Manage internal documentation, training, and communication on payment flows, system changes, and issue resolution processes

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in payment operations or product/payment management, ideally in e-commerce or digital platforms

  • Deep understanding of digital payments, card networks, acquirers, fraud prevention tools, and payment orchestration systems

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and leading projects from concept to execution

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to turn insights into operational improvements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and tech teams

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Excel, BI platforms; knowledge of SQL or ERPs is a strong plus

  • Fluency in Italian and English

What we offer:

  • Benefits: monthly lunch tickets, company laptop, discounts on our owned brands and brand partners, and exclusive local offers

  • Learning & Development Programs: continuous growth with TLG University and The Breakfast Club initiatives

  • Workplace & People: be part of the young (avg. age 31) and international (30+ nationalities) #TLGpeople group, working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
