Scarosso is seeking a Product Merchandiser who will develop and monitor the collection's merchandising strategy, collaborating with Supply Chain and Planning to manage reassortments and deliveries.
Ideal candidates will have proven strong high-end footwear expertise across all footwear categories for men and women, a solid understanding of high-end quality, and a passion for product.
This individual will be responsible for performing market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the target price ranges and coordinating the development and go-to-market strategy of the entire Scarosso collection, including special projects.
Experience working within a fast-paced, growth-oriented company on the international stage and an understanding of luxury lifestyle brands are musts. A strong attention to detail and a team player mindset are also required.
What you'll do:
Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape in terms of product, design, and pricing positioning in order to develop the collection structure.
Provide growth opportunities in the global footwear market with the goal of implementing a strategy that aligns with the demands and expectations of the end customer.
Coordinate the sourcing and development cycles of the collections, working closely with suppliers and production stakeholders.
Ensure the production of projects/designs are successfully delivered in line with the brief and timeline
Develop and manage the relationship with other internal (other teams) and external stakeholders (suppliers and third parties)
Stay up to date on the latest trends in the footwear market, competitive scenario, and customer insights to identify new product enhancements.
Who are you:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in product merchandising in Fashion/luxury brands, with a focus on the Footwear department
Relevant experience in the Fashion E-commerce industry is a plus
Excellent knowledge of fashion trends and product merchandising
Solid understanding of principles, tactics, and implementation of product merchandising activities
Both analytical and creative mindset
Excellent Italian and English skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong ability to work both in a team and autonomously, interacting with multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
