We are looking for a Retail Operations Manager with a solid background in operational excellence to support the efficiency and compliance of our store network. In this role, you will ensure the consistent execution of operational processes, manage store-related procedures, and support cross-functional initiatives to improve retail performance. You will work closely with Store Managers and internal departments to guarantee smooth daily operations and a consistent in-store experience.
What you’ll do:
Design, implement, and optimize operational procedures and tools to improve store efficiency
Coordinate and oversee all operational aspects of store openings, relocations, and refurbishments
Monitor stock management processes, physical inventory, and loss prevention
Ensure proper implementation of corporate standards, policies, and systems in stores
Manage retail budgets for supplies, uniforms, and services, ensuring cost control and timely execution
Act as the key contact for operational issues, providing hands-on support and solutions
Collaborate with IT and Retail teams on optimization of POS systems and back-office tools
Support the digitalization of retail operations by identifying process automation opportunities, enabling data-driven decisions, and integrating new retail technologies
Deliver training and support to store teams on operational procedures and systems
Support sustainability-related initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the fashion/luxury sector
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience with digital tools and operational systems in retail environments (e.g. ERP, POS, stock management platforms)
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and project management abilities
Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Willingness to travel regularly
