In just a few years, The Level Group has become one of the leading global e-commerce partners for luxury fashion brands. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Lead to join our team and drive our e-commerce projects to the next level.

The Shopify Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality e-commerce solutions using the Shopify platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Shopify's architecture, APIs, and ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing custom Shopify themes, apps, and integrations, as well as a strong background in front-end and back-end development.


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Design and develop custom Shopify themes from scratch, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

  • Develop and customize Shopify apps to meet specific business requirements.

  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs seamlessly with Shopify.

  • Develop custom checkout components.

  • Integrate third-party applications via job ( eg: feed generations ).

  • Optimize and improve the performance, security, and scalability of e-commerce websites.

  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and Shopify development.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years focused on Shopify plus development.

  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful Shopify stores.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

  • Experience with Shopify’s Polaris component library.

  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with headless Shopify setups and GraphQL.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.

  • Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
